Overview

The 5 days itinerary offers an adventure starting with the arrival at Entebbe to the mystical Amabere caves and ending with going back to Entebbe. There is also a chance to explore the unique landscapes of Uganda, from the boiling Sempaya hot springs to the Bigodi wetlands with chances for viewing chimpanzees and visiting scenic Crater lakes.

Day 1 :

Arrive at Entebbe Airport.

• Our guide picks you from the airport.
• Travel to fort portal, Amabere caves (5 hours).
• Reach fort portal.
• Enjoy lunch at fort portal.
• Check into your accommodation where you can spend a night.

Day 2 :

Visit the Semuliki National Park and hot springs.

• Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the lodge.
• Visit Amabere ga ‘nyinamwiru caves.
• Have a guided tour to the caves and the nearby water falls.
• Rest and take pictures.
• Move to Semuliki and Sempaya hot springs.
• Gorilla tracking in Semuliki National Park.
• A chance to see Tea as the priority cash crop grown the area.
• Observe natural geothermal activity.

Day 3 :

Move to Kibale forest National Park.

• Wake up early and enjoy breakfast.
• Drive to Kibale National Park one of Uganda’s most magnificent rainforests with more than 350 species.
• Head to Kibale forest for trekking with a ranger.
• Observe primates like the gorillas, chimpanzees, baboons and monkey’s various species.
• Take a guided walk in the park.

Day 4 :

Chimpanzee trekking at Bigodi Nature Walk.

• Start the day with an early breakfast.
• Go for tracking in the park.
• Visit Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a nature walk and birding.
• Spend a night at the Lodge with all meals provided.

Day 5 :

Return to Entebbe.

• Go for bird watching in the morning.
• Go for trekking in the afternoon.
• Drive back to the air port.
