Overview

The 3 days Lake Mburo biking Safari-family adventure. Should not be underestimated. This is the only place where you can see zebras in southern Uganda and lake Mburo National Park is the only Park with impalas, giant bush rats, slender mongoose in the world. It has an impressive animal and bird species all over for example the antelopes and elands. These can be easily seen during your day game drive and night guided drives in search for nocturnal species such as bush baby, leopards and porcupines.

Day 1 :

Arrival at the Airport

After arrival,
• Our guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. (4 hours)
• While travelling stop at the equator for some beautiful photographs.
• Drive from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park.
Afternoon boat cruise.
• Go for a boat cruise and Come face to face with the beautiful flora and fauna including several mammals such as antelopes, buffalos, hippos and crocodiles while at the boat cruise.
• Keep your eyes open to also see the spotting of several bird species including the African fish eagle, king fishers, herons and many more waterbirds.

Day 2 :

Morning Game Drive

Start with the game drive.
• Meet the driver and start the morning game drive.
• Enjoy the best experience of your trip as you see several ground mammals and nocturnal mammals in abundance. For example, the zebras, elands, giraffes, impalas, water bucks and herds of cattle as they graze on the fresh vegetation in the morning.
Afternoon boat cruise:
• Go for the different afternoon drive.
• Spot out different species.
• Engage in a community tour around the Ankole region

Day 3 :

Guided nature walks, bicycle tours, sport fishing and return to Kampala 2-3hours.

• Follow the guide to see several wild animals including the nocturnal mammal returning to their dens.
• This nature walk lasts between 2-3hours.
• Bicycle tour.
• Go for a riding like for one hour as you ride in the park and around passing through several mammals including zebras, antelopes, buffalos and others.
• Sport fishing
• Go for spot fishing since lake mburo National Park is mostly covered by water and harbors several fish species. E.g. Nile perch, tilapia, catfish and tiger fish.
