Historical Background
Natfey Tours and Travel was founded in 2022 by a team of passionate travel enthusiasts who shared a vision of showcasing the beauty and diversity of Uganda to the world. Our founders, who have a combined experience of over 10 years in the tourism industry, identified a gap in the market for a tour operator that could provide personalized, sustainable, and authentic travel experiences in Uganda and the whole of East Africa.
After months of research, planning, and preparation, Natfey Tours and Travel was officially launched in April 2022. Our first office was set up in Kampala, and we started operating with a small team of dedicated staff.
In our first year, we have achieved several milestones, including:
- Successfully hosting our first group of clients in June 2022.
- Establishing partnerships with over 20 local hotels, lodges, and tour operators.
- Developing a range of unique tour packages that showcase Uganda’s natural beauty, culture, and history.
- Receiving positive reviews and feedback from our clients.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have remained committed to our vision of providing exceptional travel experiences in Uganda and the whole of East Africa. We are proud of our achievements in our first year and look forward to many more years of growth and success.
